Dassault Mirage 2000 30 / 40mm EDF RC Jet

This RC plane is completely 3D printable with the exception of the parts listed below. It uses a combination of designed internal structure and 2-3% gyroid infill for additional skin rigidity and strength. A detailed guide is available for free and shows the assembly of parts and recommended printing parameters.

It is recommended that you are an intermediate builder have a well-tuned LW PLA, LW PLA-HT, LW ASA, or ASA Aero printing profile for your exact printer. The build guide will show any additional print settings required.

This is a great performer with very close to a 1:1 thrust ratio with the 40mm setup. The 30mm is less powerful and we are including it in the files since the original design was for that size fan. We found that the 40mm really makes it a blast to fly. The Mirage can be hand launched as a belly lander, or taken off and landed with the optional landing gear that has a steerable nose wheel.

-Battery: 4S 700-1000mah Lipo, > or = 30C discharge rate

-Fixed Landing Gear Wire: 1.25-1.5mm spring steel

-Control Linkage Wire: 1mm spring steel

-X2 Magnets: 8mmx2mm Cylindrical or smaller

-X2 M2 Mini Screws (Optional):

-X2 M3 Set Screws OR one Normal M3 Screw (Optional, fixed gear):

Two M3 set screws are optimal for securing the nose gear, but one normal M3 screw will also work

-CA hinges (Optional):

Thin strips of printed PETG or TPU may be used. Thin plastic sheeting can also work
